GM Genuine Parts Navigation Microphone are designed, engineered, and tested to rigorous standards, and are backed by General Motors. This component is a part of your hands free system such as Bluetooth or OnStar, per vehicle application. This system listens to verbal commands and then executes them. If a vehicle is equipped with an OnStar module (UE1) the microphone is wired directly to said module. With vehicles not equipped with OnStar, the microphone is routed directly to the radio.
